In June 2014 experts of the Centre for International Relations carried out a qualitative research on a group of Poles who arrived to the UK after May 1, 2004. The research’s main objective was to describe the current shape of relations of the last wave of Polish migration with their home country, to define the obstacles and stimuli regarding the possibility of return, as well as to explore the respondents’ opinions on professional and personal development opportunities in the Isles. The results of the research, together with recommendations on how to strengthen Polish identity, as well as the actual relationship with Poland are singled out in the special report, which can be accessed here.
